Cry

"I told you nothing good would come from dating a fish, didn't I?"
"You."
"I?"
"You killed her..."
"Of course I did." He gently grabbed his comrad's chin. "Why? Did you love her?"
Her hair floated gently to brush his reaching hand.
"So silent? I can't tell if you did or not. Go ahead and cry for her."
She was so close.
"No one can see your tears."

*twitch* At full view, it's still half-sized. Compression killed it, ah the price for manageable file sizes. For the love of all things, full view!

Been working on this for about a week. Drew the original sketch with just the reaching mershark and the dead body, but it was missing something. Then I figured it out! The plot. I knew when I started sketching that his lover, the mermaid, was killed by a shark, but that's not nearly as much fun as a prejudice friend now is it? So, if you didn't gather from the above dialouge: Mershark and Mermaid were dating, Mershark's friend didn't like it and did what he did best: killed the mermaid. They are carnivores after all. *nod nod* Anyway, I worked really hard on this so I hope you all like it! ^_^ (And ignore the unrealisticness of the dead corpse...sorry!)
